13 months water charge exemption for consumers

Hyderabad: The Government of Telangana has decided to exempt consumers from water charges for the 13 months from December 2020 to December 2021.

Of the 9600,000 rupees of consumers, 5.50 will benefit from the government’s decision to abandon the bill due to the restrictions of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

The decision is that Telangana MA & UD Minister K Tarakarama Rao has not completed the process of linking Aadhar links to “consumer account numbers” (CAN) during a review of the free water scheme. It will be done after you notice.

Arvind Kumar also said in an order to HMWS & SB that “water tariffs will resume in January 2022 for non-slums such as slums, domestic individuals, skyscrapers (MSBs) and domestic bulk / colonies.” Water charges for those who have already paid will be adjusted on a monthly invoice issued from January 2022.

All pending invoices pending until December 2020 will be issued separately for 13 months without any interest or fines on consumer invoices.
