13 regions of Greece with a positive rate of over 10%

Daily coronavirus cases in Greece may have been steadily below 10,000 in the last two weeks, but the positive index is a source of concern for Greek medical professionals.

The reason for concern is the fact that 13 of the 63 regional units have a positive rate of over 10%.

Please note that health experts consider a positive rate of 4% or higher to be the risk limit and that area is marked “red”.

According to official EODY data from April 15th to May 1st, 2022, the median positive rate was 5.05% of a total of 931,267 clinical tests (RT-PCR / Rapid-Ag).

Covid patients were admitted to the hospital for 1,200 people, while the total number of cure discharges was 1,178.
