19-year-old killed in attack in Koreatown

Detectives are investigating after a 19-year-old man died from head injuries after being assaulted in Koreatown.

The victim was identified as Jun Hee Han, according to Los Angeles Police.

According to his family, Han was attacked in late July in the 700 block of South Harvard Boulevard after he fell and suffered a head injury during a heated argument.

He remains hospitalized in a coma and earlier this week police said Han had died from his injuries.

Investigators are still trying to unravel the sequence of events leading up to the attack, but a motive remains unclear.
