20 people injured in Indian riots after activists were killed

Several incidents of arson and riots were reported as angry mobs throwing stones at offices reportedly owned by Muslims.
Police fired in the air and used tear gas to subdue the angry crowd.
Law enforcement officers in the region, who have a long history of joint violence, said they had arrested the two on Monday and accused their old rivals of murder.
According to local media, one of the first Hijab protest Muslim students in the Udupi district said her brother was attacked at a hotel on Monday.
According to local media, state interior minister Araga Jnanendra said authorities have not found a link between violence in Shivamogga and the hijab line.
