A body found in a port suspected of being a crew member of a missing Korean tugboat in the Taiwan Strait – Taiwan English News

The body floating in Makou Port on Yuhu Island is a four-Korean crew member who has been missing even after the disappearance of a South Korean-owned Sierra Leone-registered ship, which is estimated to have sunk in the Taiwan Strait two days ago. It is considered to be one of the members.

The Penghu County Fire Department received a report of a floating body on the south embankment of Suogan Wharf at Makou Port at 11:50 am on April 9. Police and Coast Guard personnel recovered the body after noon.
