A judicial transaction offered to a Quebec woman accused of mailing poison to Donald Trump

U.S. prosecutors say they have offered a judicial transaction to a woman in the Montreal region accused by mail. poison To former President Donald Trump.

Transaction includes 3 charges Pascal Ferrier Faces related to letters containing Ricin Not only was it mailed to the White House in 2020, but the 16 federal crimes she faces. TexasShe is said to have mailed poison to several law enforcement officers.

Federal prosecutor Michael Freedman said in a short court appearance Wednesday that Ferrier would have to decide whether to accept the offer by the end of June, but details have not been disclosed.

Friedman said the deal was complex and the allegations faced by Ferrier were serious, adding that eight of Texas’s allegations could result in life imprisonment.

She will return to court on June 30th.
