A man seriously injured after falling off a truck while loading materials

A man who had fallen from a truck loaded with luggage was seriously injured on Tuesday afternoon.

Police said in a statement that they were informed of the accident at the Coradino Industrial Complex in Paola around 12:30 pm on Tuesday.

Preliminary on-site investigations revealed that a 48-year-old man living in Kormi was injured when he fell off a truck while loading it.

After receiving medical assistance, the man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital and was found to be seriously injured.

Police investigation is underway.
