People are flocking to the Nandankanan Zoological Park in India’s Orissa state to see the two-headed turtle, which was born on Monday, media reports claim. Sanjeet Kumar, deputy director of the Nandankanan Zoological Park, told Indian media that a red-eared slider laid an egg on the sand a few days ago, from which two babies hatched. We take full care of our turtles and go to great lengths to provide a safe environment within the park’s reptile enclosures. So far, the two-headed turtle hatchlings are healthy and active and are moving around the enclosure normally.
