About 46 million dinars collected during the campaign

The Ministry of Communications announced that a campaign to collect membership fees for services provided to third parties has led to the collection of approximately 46.39 million Kuwaiti dinars (approximately $150 million) since it was launched.

In a press statement, ministry spokesman Mishaal Al-Zaid said the campaign, which was launched almost a year ago, will continue until the goal is achieved by collecting all dues from companies, institutions and individuals. He said.

Al-Zaid added that the membership fees collected were “telephone, fiber optic, cable, band, path, fiber optic internet, area, 800 line, antenna, leased line, ISDN line,” according to KUNA.

He called on all beneficiaries to promptly pay the dues they incurred in order to avoid interruption of services provided or restoration of interrupted services, and in case of non-payment, the Ministry will comply with all necessary laws. to collect dues.
