AD Port collaborates with China Group to establish the region’s first tire hub

AD Ports Group has signed an agreement with China-based Shandong Port Group to establish a tire hub in Kizad for the storage and distribution of tires in Abu Dhabi.

The AD Ports Group will provide space for Kizad’s upcoming 150,000 square meters of facilities beneath the industrial city and free zone clusters. This includes warehousing, logistics, distribution, and re-export services provided by Micco under the AD Ports Group’s logistics cluster, as well as Safeen Feeders under the maritime cluster.

AD Ports Group and SPG have signed two agreements in the presence of Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Group CEO of AD Ports Group, and Li Fengli, GM of Shandong Port Group.

The agreement to establish a tire storage and distribution hub was signed by Abdullah Al Hameri, Head of Industrial City and Free Zone Cluster, and Chang Kuang Chen, Chairman of Shandong Port Overseas Development Group.
