EXUMA | The Alabama man was one of three mysteriously dead at the Sandals Resort in Exuma.

Vincent Chiarella of Birmingham was found dead at Sandals Emerald Bay Resort in Great Exuma on Friday, his son confirmed.

Vincent’s wife Donis was also injured, Austin Chiarella told the news team.

The couple was celebrating their anniversary at the resort, he told ABC News that he had spoken to his mother on Saturday.

He told the outlet that she woke up to find out that “she couldn’t move” and that Vincent was “lying on the floor.”

“Her legs and arms were swollen, and she couldn’t move, and she shouted to bring someone to the door,” Austin said.

Authorities confirmed that three Americans were found dead at the resort and a fourth was airlifted to a hospital.

“We still don’t know the cause of this incident. We don’t know if it’s gas or medicine. It will be decided in future investigations,” an island source told BP.
