From this family-owned estate on a hill 50km north of central Lisbon, winemaker Miguel Cavaquin introduced five bottles of wine from Quinta da Chocapala and the tasting began.

Since its purchase by the Tavares da Silva family in 1987, the development of Chokapara Estate has been a loving task. The commitment to quality is evident in the wines enjoyed by AWS members, with Viosinho and Castellan being particularly well received.

Following the tasting of these five wines, a five-course dinner was offered, along with wines from other producers in the range available from DECANTE Vinhos in Alcantaria. The meal started with the secret spot wine Moscatel Gallego, Douro Wine. It is creamy but has a refreshing acidity.
