San Francisco: Apple plans to announce the iPhone 14 series around September, and a new report suggests that all four iPhone 14 models will have a 120Hz screen, not just the two Pro devices.
According to a research note by Jeff Pu, an analyst at Haitong International Securities, all four iPhone 14 models will have exactly the same RAM capacity (6GB). This is also in contrast to the current situation where the iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13 are 4GB and the Pro and Pro Max are 6GB, GSM Arena reports.
Recently, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claimed that the 2022 iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will move to camera hole punchers.
Apple has reportedly advised major US carriers to prepare for the launch of eSIM-only smartphones by September this year.
Apple may remove the physical SIM card slot from some iPhone 14 models instead of the initially rumored some iPhone 15 models.
It is also said that two eSIM cards are supported and dual SIM functionality is guaranteed. Removing the SIM card slot may further improve water resistance.
The next flagship series, the iPhone 14, lineup will have up to 2TB of storage.
Apple will adopt QLC flash storage for next year’s iPhone, increasing capacity to 2TB thanks to new storage technology.
