An additional 131 Nigerians return from Libya – Middle East Monitor

131 stranded Nigerians from Libya have been accepted by the Nigerian National Emergency Administration (NEMA) at Multara Mohammed International Airport in Lagos, local Libyan media reports.

According to the report, the returnees were returned to the country through a voluntary return program by the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

The returnees are 31 adult males, 72 adults, 11 boys, 6 girls, 4 girls, and 7 boys.

In 2022, the batch brought the total number of returnees from Nigeria to 1,052 with voluntary support from Libya.
