Anti-drone system for Greek islands

Greece has quietly built anti-drone systems that significantly enhance its ability to protect the islands of the Aegean Sea.

The deployed system uses Israeli technology, has characteristics similar to Israeli drone domes, and basically operates in a way that interferes with the flight capabilities of potential enemy UAVs.

Apart from this anti-drone system, Greece is also aiming to increase its arsenal of drones, and plans to buy American drones early next week have been submitted to the Greek Parliament.

Kathimerini’s diplomatic and defense editor, Vassilis Nedos, joins Thanos Davelis to investigate this anti-drone umbrella that Greece has installed on its islands. Anti-drone system for Greek islands
