A Los Angeles court officially announced the divorce of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Schwarzenegger ten years after they separated following the unfaithfulness of turning from an actor to a politician.

Due to the number of financial assets to negotiate, the divorce process for the pair took a particularly long time, Celebrity news site TMZ Said on Wednesday.

Schreiber, a journalist and niece of former US President John F. Kennedy, first filed for divorce in July 2011.

A few weeks later, the “Terminator” star acknowledged his relationship with Mildred Baena, the nanny of his son-bearing family in 1997.

Schreiber quoted the “irreconcilable difference” in the divorce notice.

Tabloid frenzy

The revelation caused a tabloid frenzy, but Schwarzenegger and Schwarzenegger quietly handled the divorce without lobbying the accusations in court or in public.

During the surge in initial submissions in 2011 and the resumption of court movements in June, there was virtually no official action taken in this case.

The financial details of the settlement have been kept secret and there are no child support or custody arrangements as the couple’s four children are now all adults.

The settlement document states that neither has the support of another spouse, but both reserve the right to seek it through court in the future.

TV, movie screen icons

Schwarzenegger set aside his film career and served as Governor of California for two terms.

Within a year of his resignation, he acknowledged the scandal and has since been acting sporadically in the “Terminator” and “The Expendables” films.

Schreiber was forced to resign from his position as a correspondent on the NBC show “Dateline” when he announced that his husband was running for governor.

After her husband resigned, she resumed her job as a television journalist.

Schwarzenegger’s children range from 24 to 32 years old. The eldest son, Katherine Schwarzenegger, is a writer who is married to actor Chris Pratt.
