Saudi Gazette Report
Riyadh — The City and Ministry of Local Housing (MOMRA) has confirmed that forced fencing of residential building construction sites will take effect from 30 July, in response to the first of the Muharram 1444 AH.
It has been clarified that the barriers are temporary and are placed according to the specifications and standards set by the ministry and contribute to coping with some negative phenomena during the construction process.
In addition to being one of the effective tools for improving cityscapes, barriers reduce visual distortion and improve the cleanliness and beauty of Saudi Arabian cities and neighborhoods.
The ministry said the decision was aimed at preserving the right of pedestrians and vehicle owners to move freely without obstacles.
It also protects the property and building materials of the parties involved in the construction work.
The ministry said that anyone who wants to isolate a construction site can see the guides that the ministry has launched for the purposes posted on Baradi’s website.
