Bernama – GE15: institutions of all PN constituent parties operate under the name of the Coalition

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 6 (Bernama) — The Pelikatan Nacional (PN) Presidential Council should today move all electoral structures of its constituent parties into coalitions during the 15th general election (GE15). We agreed on one thing.

PN chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the issue was decided at a meeting of the presidential council and a subsequent meeting of the Politburo in Bersatu.

“There was a meeting before to discuss preparations for GE15. I don’t know when it will be held, but this (preparations for GE15) is nothing new. We’ve already talked about it a few times, but more today. It was done in detail.

“We have agreed at the PN level that all levels of machinery comprising Bersatu, PAS, Gerakan, Parti Maju Sabah (SAPP) and Parti Solidariti Tanah AirKu (STAR) will operate under the name of PN. That’s what we have set,” he told reporters after the meeting.

Also at the meeting of the Presidential Council were PAS Vice President Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Mann, PN Electoral Commission Chairman Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali, PN Secretary General Datuk Seri Hamza Zainuddin and Bersatu Vice Chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ronald. Kiandee and Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin were present. Dr. Dominic Lau Ho Chai, President of Gerakhan Datuk.

Muhyiddin added that the Presidential Council also agreed to continue the Prihattin Tour program to provide the public with detailed information on the coalition’s position on current issues.

“This includes what we want to include in our manifesto and what we want to prepare. The focus is on people’s issues and we want to put people first.

“The ‘Gerai Prihatin’ program is also continuing to help people face major problems such as high cost of living and inflation…we have already started in many states,” he said. Told.

Asked whether PAS would remain in PN to face GE15, Muhyiddin, who is also President of Bersatu, simply replied, “God’s will, we remain steadfast.”
