Bollywood megastar Salman Khan survives a snake bite

Bollywood’s “bad boy” Salman Khan reveals how he starred in a live-action drama when he was bitten by a snake and spent six hours in the hospital.

Khan, who enjoys a cult-like position in India, star-struck, snakes when he tries to remove it from a rural house near Mumbai before his 56th birthday on Monday. Said he chewed twice.

“I lovingly picked up the snake and took it out, and after the snake wrapped around the stick, I started climbing up,” Khan told reporters.

After he was bitten, the local villagers shouted “hospital, hospital, hospital” and said I should be taken to the hospital immediately. There was a lot of noise, the snake was a little poisonous, and it bit me again.

The actor was given antitoxin, was placed under surveillance, and was discharged 6 hours later.

Despite much controversy, Khan is one of Bollywood’s greatest attractions.

He was convicted of a hit-and-run in 2002 that killed a homeless man sleeping on a sidewalk in Mumbai.

His five-year imprisonment was almost immediately overturned by the High Court.

Kahn was convicted in 2018 of shooting and killing two rare antelopes on a hunting trip 20 years ago, but denied killing animals.

The snake that bit him survived a recent encounter, and Khan said it was now safely returned to the jungle.

According to a survey released last year, India saw 58,000 deaths annually, or 160 daily, from snakebites between 2000 and 2019.
