The Bosch Group in Germany has more than 8,000 employees in the country and plans to increase the number of employees by at least 400, the company says it will continue to expand its Cluj and Brazi plants. Due to the “significant uncertainty” caused by the global coronavirus pandemic and the war in Ukraine, the company has “booked forecasts” domestically for this year’s business.

The company plans to use it mainly in R & D, production and services this year. “For example, the Engineering Center wants to hire more than 400 specialists in the field of software and hardware engineering this year, and will continue to work in Timisoara’s Bosch Services Solutions division and in the factory. 2023. Bosch says it will continue to expand its engineering center in Bucharest this year, expanding the production capacity of its Cluj and Brazi plants. The company opened a third production hall in Cluj in 2021. In this production unit, Bosch has been producing airbags, multiple camera systems, and electronic control units for driving assistance since 2013.

Bosch invested more than € 700 million in Romania between 2005 and 2021. Last year, the total amount was 83 million euros.

Bosch finished the 2021 fiscal year, with Romania’s consolidated sales of 2.4 billion lei (€ 494 million), an increase of about 10% compared to last year.

Romania’s total net sales, including sales of non-consolidated companies and domestic deliveries to affiliates, were 8.2 billion lei (€ 1.7 billion), an increase of 19% annually.
