Bosnian Türkiye launches project to train young Bosniaks

Turkey and Bosnia have launched a special training project for Bosnian citizens to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s independence and to celebrate the bilateral relations between the two countries.

Bosnia and Herzegovina became independent of the former Yugoslavia during the independence referendum between February 29 and March 1, 1992.

The project “Applied Training Program on Strategic Intercultural Communication” is sponsored by the non-profit Yunus Emre Institute (YEI) and is a volunteer “Peace Envoy” on the international stage that demonstrates the unity and integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. For training purposes. ..

Seref Ates, president of YEI, said the institute aims to further strengthen the centuries-old bond between the two communities.

Bosnia and Herzegovina’s envoy to Ankara Addis Alasic emphasized that everything Bosnia and Herzegovina needs is available in Turkey.

TRT World Journalist Program

Turkish public broadcaster TRT World, broadcast in English, will also host Bosnians as part of the collaboration between Türkiye Radio Television and YEI.

Participants will visit the TRT World Broadcasting Station and participate in the “Journalism for Youth” program, with the contribution of the Directorate General of TRT and the Department of Education and Research.
