Brian Marlier becomes Virsec’s Chief Revenue Officer

Virsec, a cybersecurity company, has announced the appointment of Brian Marlier as Chief Revenue Officer.

Marlier is responsible for all aspects of revenue performance and oversees all activities to bring to market and generate revenue.

Dave Furneaux, co-founder and CEO of Virsec, said:

Marlier has over 35 years of experience and was a former CEO and co-founder of Focal Point Data Risk.

He sold Focal Point to CDW in 2021 for a private amount. He has been with Cisco for 21 years and was a Senior Vice President of Global Architecture and Global Enterprise Sales in particular.

In 2021, Virsec increased customer recruitment by 700% and increased nearly 200 employees worldwide.

The company has also expanded and onboarded a network of more than 20 partners across North America, the Middle East and Asia.
