SINGAPORE, December 1 (ANI): BTS will be the subject of a new Disney documentary series titled BTS Monument: Beyond the Stars, which chronicles the formation and history of Korean boy bands.

The announcement was made on Wednesday via a teaser trailer on Disney Singapore’s Twitter account. No release date has been confirmed, but Variety says it will debut in 2023.

Variety, a US-based entertainment media house, said in the trailer that viewers can expect to hear a candid “story of growth from debut to today” and never-before-seen footage. . “We invite you all to join us in our story of blood, sweat and tears,” RM said, referring to the song from the South Korean boy band’s second studio album.

Jungkook added, “I hope you will find a new side of us that you have never seen before.”

According to the tweet, “Beyond the Star” is a “DisneyPlus SG exclusive series,” but it is unclear if “Beyond the Star” will only be available in Singapore or will be screened abroad. A Disney rep did not immediately respond to Variety’s request for comment.

According to Variety, the impending documentary series announcement comes while the ensemble focuses on their individual pursuits.
