The employer announced a record number of jobs in 2021 and reported on Profesia.sk, Slovakia’s largest job portal operated by the hiring company of the same name. In 2020, employers published the lowest number of jobs over the years (just over 190,000), but in 2021, they published a total of 292,838 job ads. This is the highest number in the 24-year history of websites.

Most of the 2021 jobs published on Profesia.sk were commerce, production, IT, transportation and logistics, and management. From 26 in 2020, an average of about 15 responded to one job. When it comes to careers, job seekers were most interested in management, journalism and talent.
