Černochová: The Czech Republic has requested the EU to subsidize 3.2 billion koruna aid to Ukraine.

The Czech Republic has requested the EU to subsidize the 3.2 billion koruna worth of supplies it has provided to Ukraine, Defense Minister JanaČernochová said Tuesday. Since the attack on Russia, Prague has sent more than 3.7 billion Koruna military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine, according to the Czech news agency.

Resources for military aid to Ukraine are drawn from the so-called European Peace Facility Fund, which has a budget of about 5 billion euros. The Czech news agency writes that the fund is being used to cover the arms supply that EU member states are sending from their reserves to Ukraine.
