“Christmas may not have cold shrimp”: Brexit threatens iconic British seafood

The lack of trade agreements with Greenland after Britain’s departure from the EU threatens the supply of iconic British seafood such as shrimp sandwiches and fish and chips.

This is a report of the Parliamentary Union of Dwayne Menezes of Greenland, who served as the founder and director of the think tank of the Polar Research Policy Initiative.

Greenland, the autonomous territory of Denmark, It is the UK’s largest source of imported cold-water shrimp and a large source of other North Atlantic seafood such as cod, haddock, halibut and snow crab.
