Cirque du Soleil ‘OVO’ show in Riyadh

RIYADH — General Directorate of Entertainment (GEA) Turki Al Al Sheikh has announced that Riyadh will host Cirque du Soleil’s ‘OVO’ show from 12 October to 3 December.

The show is organized by GEA of Princess Noura bint Abdul Rahman University.

OVO centers on the lives of insects who play, fight and search for love in a constant riot of energy. Their home is filled with biodiversity, beauty, action, and moments of quiet emotion. The awe-inspiring insects are very curious when the mysterious eggs appear, revealing the mystery and cycles of their lives.

The OVO show is an exciting experience that acrobatically showcases the unique personalities and abilities of different species of insects, revealing the beauty of biodiversity in all its forms.

The show has been watched by 7 million people in 26 countries. About 100 people from 25 countries, including 52 performers on stage, put on a spectacular aerial show set to South American music.

Shows run five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday. Shows start at 20:00 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and at 16:00 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. — Spa
