Citizen status provides the ability to correct your name in English

RIYADH — The Ministry of Interior’s Civil Affairs Department has announced a new feature that will allow citizens to amend and amend their names in English on their national IDs.
Citizens, both male and female, can now benefit from the service of amending and correcting their names written in English through their accounts on the Absher platform.
Civil Status has clarified how you can benefit from the service of correcting names in civil records. Citizens must enter an account in her Absher and submit an electronic request through (Tawasul), it said.
Please note that this feature requires citizens to submit a copy of their passport.
It is worth noting that more than 2,300,000 trades were made electronically through the Absher platform during August.
Issuance and renewal of status of residence (Iqama) was the most frequent, reaching 648,289.
