The Ministry of Commerce and Industry received 100 complaints from citizens within five days for failing to meet the terms and conditions signed by a well-known company.
According to local Arabic, the company was unable to deliver the car it promised to buy on their behalf at a competitive price.
Added daily, about 3 million dinars have been collected from car offices so far, and this amount could increase as the number of complaints continues to grow within the next few days.
According to sources, the office owner returned the money to the 10 petitioners, who claimed about 420,000 dinars.
The ministry has instructed us to wait until the date of receipt, as many claimants have not yet delivered their vehicles under a contract signed between the parties, according to people familiar with the matter. Therefore, additional complaints will be registered with the office.
After being summoned by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, sources pointed out that the owners of the car office, represented by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the consumer protection department, have expressed their cooperation in returning some of the petitioners’ money. ..
According to sources, the Automobile Bureau’s customers included citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, especially Qatar, as well as parliamentary representatives, government officials, civil servants, and the ruling party’s family.
