Construction of the Jimbor-Poarta Sarajurui section of the Transylvania Highway will begin next week, Transport Minister Sorin Grindeanu announced on Friday.

“The Jimbor-Poalta Sarajurui section (Transylvania Highway) has been ordered to be built! Starting next week (July 25th), Romanian constructors will be able to begin work on this section at 12.24km.Minister Grindeanu posted on Facebook.

This PNRR-funded construction is worth 680 million lei (no VAT) and must be completed by 2024, or within 24 months.
