COVID-19: Asymptomatic Quarantine Shortened to 5 Days – Japanese

(ANSA) – ROME, 1 September – The Ministry of Health has reduced the minimum quarantine period for people infected with COVID-19 from seven to five days in a circular issued on Wednesday.
To be out of quarantine after just five days, you must be symptom-free for at least two days and have a negative COVID test.
The maximum quarantine period for people who are ‘persistently positive’ has been reduced from 21 days from the first positive test to 14 days. (ANSA).
