COVID: 38,507 new cases, more than 115 victims-English

(ANSA)-May 13, Rome-38,507 new cases of COVID-19 have occurred in Italy in the last 24 hours, with an additional 115 virus victims, the Ministry of Health said Friday.

This is comparable to 39,317 new cases and more than 130 casualties on Thursday.

The current plus is down 10,820 on Thursday to 1,007,863.

Recovery and emissions were 15,820,859, an increase of 49,734 on Thursday.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the number of cases has been 16,993,813 and the number of deaths has been 165,091.

Approximately 265,647 tests were performed compared to Thursday’s 268,654.

The positive rate has dropped from 14.6% to 14.5%.

Intensive care cases increase from 7 to 341 and hospitalizations decrease from 251 to 7,907. (ANSA).
