Customs prevents knives, various types of weapons from entering Kuwait

General Directorate General of Customs Suleiman Al-Fahad, Acting Director General of Customs, confirmed that the General Directorate of Customs and its officials spare no effort to prevent and counter any attempts to smuggle illegal paraphernalia into the country. The strenuous efforts of the General Department of Customs manned at land, sea and air demarcation points have seized various types of weapons such as fist metal knuckles, kitchen knives, knives, pepper spray and handcuffs.

Al-Fahd told the local Arabian daily that all the weapons had been seized from arriving passengers and that they had been sent by air parcel and handed over to the Ministry of Interior.

Al-Fahad stressed that customs officials will not tolerate nonsense that endangers the lives of citizens and residents.
