Depeche Mode to perform in Bucharest in summer 2023 – The Romania Journal

Depeche Mode will perform at the National Arena in Bucharest on 26th July 2023. It will be his third time the Briton is in the capital, but the band’s keyboardist, who died in May this year, will be the first without Andy Fletcher.

The legendary British band has included Romania in its ‘Memento Mori’ tour, which will debut in North America next March before reaching Europe.

The British band will perform at the National Arena on July 26 after playing in Bucharest in 2006 and 2013. Tickets for the concert in Bucharest go on sale on October 7th at 10am.

The new album and next year’s tour were announced at a special event in Berlin on Tuesday. Memento Mori is the fifteenth studio album by Dave Gaham and Martin Gore.

Speaking to the Ticketmaster website, Martin Gore said:We started working on this project early in the pandemic, and the theme was directly inspired by that time. After Fletch died, it was what he wanted and he decided to go on because he’s sure it gave the project a special level of meaning. ”

Dave Gahan added: “Fletch must have loved this album.
