DEWA CEO discusses renewable energy cooperation with Spanish ambassador

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) welcomed Spain’s UAE Ambassador Iñigo de Palacio and Spain’s Embassy Trade and Economy Counselor Andres Salinero.

This visit was intended to review DEWA’s discussed cooperation in the field of clean and renewable energy. The conference also considered key projects, initiatives, and programs to strengthen the transition to a green economy and sustainability.

Al Tayer welcomes the delegation and shares the importance of strengthening cooperation and contributions of Spanish companies in Dubai’s electricity and water projects, especially in the areas of clean and renewable energy, and the best energy expertise, experience and practices. I talked about the importance of things. Water, further developing these areas and mutually benefiting from the expertise of both parties.

The Spanish delegation expressed interest in participating in the DEWA project on clean, renewable energy and water, and the DEWA’s bilateral relations between the UAE and Spain and the achievement of sustainable development in Dubai. I praised the effort.
