Dubai Emirates Selected as the Safest Airline in the World

Dubai’s Emirates was named the safest airline in the world for the second consecutive year earlier this week, with a risk assessment of 95%.

A survey of 25 airlines conducted by the Hamburg-based Jet Airliner Crash Data Evaluation Center (JACDEC) ranked Middle Eastern airlines at the top.

According to the report, KLM was selected as the second safest airline with 93.31 percent.

American Airlines JetBlue and Delta were ranked 3rd and 4th, respectively, and easyJet was ranked 5th.

For the first time, JACDEC evaluated the world’s largest airline in one of four regions. At the regional level, UAE’s Etihad Airways has reached the top of the list.

In Europe, KLM, Finnair, Air Europa, Transavia, easyJet and Norway have been rated as the safest airlines on the continent.

Due to the inadequate performance of passenger kilometers in 2021, airlines such as Austrian Airlines, Eurowings and Condor did not rank in the top 25 in Europe.

Jan-Arwed Richter, founder of Jacdec, said regional categories were created by shifting size ratios in favor of many airlines with strong domestic markets such as China and the United States.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) previously predicted a pandemic that would cost the global aviation industry $ 210 billion between 2020 and 2022.

“The magnitude of the Covid-19 crisis for airlines is immeasurable. Between 2020 and 2022, total loss could exceed $ 200 billion,” said Iata Secretary Willy Walsh. I am.
