East Palo Alto canine assault leaves 1-year-old severely injured

EAST PALO ALTO – A canine attacked and severely injured a toddler Wednesday night time in East Palo Alto, police stated.

The incident was reported round 7:20 p.m. at a house within the 800 block of Schembri Lane, East Palo Alto police Cmdr. David Carson stated in a information launch.

Officers contained the canine whereas paramedics handled the 1-year-old, who was taken to a hospital. Police are monitoring the kid’s situation.
