EFKA clears most of the pending pension backlog

A single Social Security Institution (EFKA) has managed to clear all pending pension applications from the years leading up to 2018.

Of the applications submitted after 2019, 97.45% have been processed and only 2.55% are pending, but of the 163,590 applications submitted in 2020, they remain unprocessed. Is only 11.2%.

Currently, the focus has moved to processing all other pending applications by June to prevent the recurrence of this phenomenon in the future.

In particular, in the process of clearing the application backlog, about 30,000 forgotten applications resurfaced from storage rooms, drawers, and so on.
