Emirates has opened an ‘Emirates World’ retail store in Jumeirah, Dubai.
Located in Jumeirah Town Centre, the airline’s redesigned 3,000-square-foot retail store is an open, fluid space where customers can shop for everything they need for their trip in a lounge-like environment.
It also offers customers the ability to literally immerse themselves in Emirates signature products via VR/AR technology.
Emirates World was officially launched with a special ribbon cut by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline and Group started.

The centerpiece of the store is the airline’s in-store premium economy class seat display. Customers can relax, recline and experience premium his economy so they know what to expect when traveling in this highly popular cabin class.
For those who prefer a virtual experience, the latest interactive screen technology allows you to take a selfie against the backdrop of Emirates products, including the A380 Onboard Lounge and First Class Private Suites.
Customers can also browse a curated selection of products and travel accessories from the Emirates Official Store.
The Emirates World retail store concept will be rolled out gradually across the airline’s network over the next three years.
Retail experience models fall into three categories: authentic Emirates World concepts, travel store models and travel kiosks.
Retail store models are determined by customer requirements in each market, including strategic positioning, venue footfall, and changing customer trends.
