We must continue everything in Europe so that we do not, and that money does not come to Russia, and that we can build our own economy for other reasons. ” Said.
He said he did not expect the sanctions to have a major impact on the war in Ukraine because it was not subject to sanctions. Sanctions are needed against Russia to affect the Russian economy and “military machinery” in the medium to long term to prevent potential future military attacks.
Therefore, it is important that Western countries continue to provide weapons to Ukraine and introduce increasingly new sanctions against Russia. The latest sanctions on Russia were approved by the EU on Wednesday. This, among other things, bans Russia’s gold imports and freezes the assets of Russia’s largest bank, Sberbank.
