Korea’s largest motor show, the Seoul Mobility Show, will open on Thursday at Kintex, which will be held in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province, northwestern Seoul.
More than 100 companies from 6 countries will participate in the 10-day show. Formerly known as the Seoul Motor Show, about 20 new models will be unveiled for the first time in South Korea.
Participants include world-famous Hyundai, Kia, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Maserati.
Hyundai will showcase 31 vehicles, including the Ioniq 5 robotaxi, a version of the Ioniq 5 electric vehicle that has been modified to enable autonomous driving. We will also be exhibiting robot dogs and humanoid robots named Spot and Atlas, respectively, created by Boston Dynamics, which was acquired by an automobile manufacturer in June.
Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi will all be exhibiting their recently released EVs.
Various events will be provided to visitors. Outdoor jazz concerts will be held from November 26th to 28th and December 3rd to 5th, and you can enjoy the barbecue.
Hyundai Mobis will hold a new technology experience event for elementary school students with the opportunity to test drive new cars and new EVs from three brands, Genesis, Kia and Audi.
The show will run until December 5th.
