Šibenik Heritage Conservation Society Representative Juraj Dharmatinak – President Nikola Grbić, members of Jolanda Krunić Zumiyanovich and Deana Karaol Radofucci, Senior Curator of the Sibenik City Museum Marina Rambasha, “in the centuries” in New York “Mowatte Sibenik” exhibition was held. Part of the project “Sibenik-Cultural Heritage by Globalization”.

The project was funded on the basis of the Republic of Croatia’s Cultural Promotion, Public Diplomacy and a public offering for international approval, and was carried out and organized by the mission of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Consulates.

The Šibenik Heritage Conservation Association Juraji Dharmatinak Established on June 9, 2011 as a non-governmental and non-political organization with the purpose of caring for Sibenik’s heritage and promotion. Currently, it has more than 300 members, most of whom are from Sibenik, but also from other parts of Croatia and around the world.

The exhibition celebrated State Day and Croatia’s 30th anniversary of membership in the United Nations last Friday, introducing the city’s history and association projects (fortress reconstruction, city center revitalization, geonuclears, magazine Juraj). bottom. The exhibition was attended by the Consul General of New York, Nikica Kopacevic, and a large number of employees and guests in the restaurant’s exhibition space. Dubrovnik..

The same exhibition was presented at the Croatian Center of St. Nicholas Taverick after a Sunday Mass at the Croatian Church of St. Cyril and Methodius. The exhibition brought together parishioners, including many of the Sibeniks who live in New York. The musical atmosphere at both events was provided by Klapa Astoria.

During his stay in New York, members of the association and representatives of the museum also visited the United Nations Headquarters, and the advisor of the Permanent Representative of the United Nations in the Republic of Croatia, Dijana Delay, introduced them to the activities of UN agencies.
