Experts say raising the bankruptcy threshold does not resolve youth bankruptcy

Raising the minimum debt standard for filing bankruptcy filings will not solve the problem of increasing the number of young people filing for bankruptcy, financial experts said.

They responded to Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob’s comment that Putrajaya is reviewing the bankruptcy threshold due to the increasing number of bankruptcies among young people.
