Far-right Israeli MK wants Palestinian stone thrower, ‘disloyal’ politician deported – Middle East Monitor

Itamar Ben Guvir, a militant Israeli parliamentarian, said yesterday that he wants to introduce a bill that would allow courts to deport Palestinians who attack soldiers and politicians who are unfaithful to the Israeli state.
In an interview with Israeli Army Radio, when asked how people who throw petrol bombs or throw stones at Israeli soldiers should be punished, he replied:
He added that setting a difference between Palestinian and Israeli punishment, Israelis arrested for throwing stones at soldiers should be “in prison for years” rather than deported.
“There is a difference between those who want to eliminate the Jewish state and those who do not,” he added.
He went on to point out members of the joint list of Knesset Ayman Odeh and Ofer Kasif as politicians who want deportation after accusing them of being “disloyal” to Israel.

This comes after a bill doubling the penalty for stoning to a minimum sentence of four years was drafted and presented to the Ministerial Committee on Legislative Relations last month.
Currently, the sentence for throwing stones at a settler’s car is two years.
Furthermore, when asked where to deport Palestinians, he replied, “There are many places looking for workers,” and said he transports them “by train, by plane, whatever you like.”
According to the Times of Israel, he proposed Europe, but a ministry should be set up to “facilitate immigration” to help identify suitable locations.
