Regional officials: Russians move to Donetsk, Ukraine
The Governor of Luhansk said Russian troops had engaged in fierce fighting and invading the Donetsk region of Ukraine after controlling the last two neighboring towns of Luhansk.
Serhiy Gaidai said Russian troops suffered great losses in the long process of occupying the sister cities of Sieviero Donetsk and Lysychans’k, but directed their efforts to move south.
“A fierce battle is taking place at the edge of the Luhansk region … all Russian and reserve troops have been turned there … they are suffering great losses,” Guydai told Ukrainian television. Told.
