Seven months after the successful referendum on the expropriation of a large housing company, an expert committee began its work.

Expropriation of a real estate company to delay the rise in rent
In a referendum initiated by the initiative on September 26, last year, 59% of voters voted for the expropriation of a real estate company with more than 3,000 apartments in Berlin. The hope of the initiative is that such socialization of compensation can stop or at least slow the rise in rent.
