Five traffickers were arrested and 20 migrants were blocked from entering Greece

Police in Alexandroupoli and Orestiada in northern Greece said five traffickers had been arrested in the last two days and at least 20 immigrants had been blocked from entering the Greek-Turkish border of Evros.
The arrests took place in two separate cases, with the first three traffickers being arrested on the Alexandroupoli National Highway in a car with three immigrants who illegally invaded Greece.
In the second case, border guards arrested two other traffickers near the Ebros River, who were transporting three dingy migrants who did not have the necessary travel documents. Police said the case prevented the illegal invasion of another 20 migrants waiting to travel from the Turkish side to Greece.
Of the traffickers, one was a Greek citizen and the rest were foreigners.
