Singapore, 26 November 2022 – On November 26, 2022, Our Tampines Hub hosted the 7th edition of the Executive Football Fundraising Charity Tournament “Football With A Heart” (FWAH).

Co-organized by Singapore Pools (Private) Limited, Football Association of Singapore (FAS) and Sport Singapore (SportSG) with grant partner Tote Board and venue partner Our Tampines Hub, FWAH is a force for social good. use sports. The event was celebrated by Tan Chuan Jin, Speaker of the Singapore Parliament.

This year’s FWAH 2022 raised a record amount of $1,051,000 through the Tote Board’s dollar-for-dollar donation matching.

Launched in 2012, FWAH is Singapore’s first and only football charity fundraiser established as a partnership between the private and public sectors to raise much-needed funds for the underprivileged. With support from 50 sponsors in various industries including banking, finance, hospitality, human resources, IT and telecommunications, his 5-a-side FWAH tournament was raised for the beneficiaries of this fundraiser. We are poised to hit another significant milestone in terms of value.

On the day of the tournament, 40 corporate teams will put their skills to the test, as well as members of parliament, local artists such as Lee Nanxing, Shane Pow, Kok Wei Le, Ian Huang and Kele, formed by Ah Girls Go Army and ex-football legends International teams made special appearances, sparring each other and wowing the crowd with a celebrity tournament.

All proceeds from the event will go to FWAH 2022 beneficiaries FAS Cares, Filos Community Services Ltd, GreenSG Collab Ltd., Heartware Network, iShine Cloud Limited and SportCares.
