Foreign Ministers of Latvia and Guinea-Bissau / Article
The ministers of both countries discussed bilateral relations, cooperation between the European Union and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), and security challenges related to Africa and Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
As part of her visit from 6 to 9 February, Suzie Karla Barbosa also met with Latvian President Egils Levitz and Saima (Latvian Parliament) Speaker Eduardz Smirtens. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Guinea Bissau will also visit the Latvian National Library and learn about the research of the Riga University of Technology.
