Former volunteer committee member Ianaki pleads not guilty to counterfeiting

On Thursday, shameful former volunteer committee Ianaki Ianaki pleaded not guilty to forgery of high school and college diplomas in the Nicosia District Court.

He was released on bail of € 20,000, had to submit all travel documents, and the next court hearing was set at 10 am on October 5, Philenews reports.

The four accusations relate to forgery of diplomas and another forgery of another document, specifically high school, college degree, and testimonials.

His lawyer, Michaelis Piki, claimed that his client had been persecuted by the media in more than 1,100 reports about the case, which became headline news, but widespread publicity was the essence of the case. Does not change. It’s just one of the counterfeits.

At the same time, he insisted that Ianaki had no plans to escape, so he only signed the guarantee himself and did not have to pay bail.
